Building Fundraiser Dinner
Kevin Jarrard Read More
Kevin Jarrard is a native of Gainesville. He and his wife Kelly homeschooled their children and the younger two graduated from Veritas in its early days. Along the journey, they experienced co-ops (formal and informal), “traditional” full time Christian schools, and dabbled in almost every homeschool curriculum under the sun.
He earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Education, History, and National Security Strategy. For 13 years, he served as a teacher and coach at a private, all-boys, military boarding school; for 5 of those years, he was the one administrator designated “in loco parentis” for 500 teenaged cadets.
Following his professional teaching career, Kevin served for 6 years as the CEO of a Gainesville-based orthopedic surgical group with various associated companies. Currently, he has returned to full-time duty with the United States Marine Corps and travels extensively. During 30 years of accumulated active and reserve Marine Corps assignments, he has deployed to 6 of the 7 continents and spent many months and years far from hearth and home, both at war and maintaining the peace.
Since 2005, Kevin serves Grace Community Church as an Elder. He and Kelly are blessed with four children, two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, and grandchildren. They reside nearby on the family farm.
